About Us
We are a family owned and operated agency that originated in Lynn County in the South Plains of Texas.

Our agency was originally founded by Lorene Hagens Maeker in 1965. She operated the business out of her home until 1987, when she sold the business to her son, Lynn.
​
For many years, Lynn operated the insurance agency and farmed cotton. In 2019, Lynn sold
the agency to his granddaughter, Laura.
​
We currently sell home, auto, liability, and commercial insurance. Maeker Insurance operates out of two offices, one in Lynn County off of Highway 87, and another located in Lubbock.
​
Many of our insureds have been with our agency since the 1970's and 80's. To all of our current insureds - thank you for your support over the years! We look forward to many more!
